How long do chickens work?

Our client is a family owned Australian business that employs people nationally in a variety of roles including Broiler & Breeder Farms, Hatcheries, and Processing Plants.

We are looking for farm hands to work ongoing for 3 months on a farm in Mt. Walker.

You will be:

- Vaccinating and feeding chickens (in a breeding shed with the lights out) and placing in wire cages
- Collecting and packing eggs
- Cleaning out pens, moving roosters and chickens around.

This job requires:

- some manual labour - lifting, bending over
- an ability to handle smell and you need to be comfortable working in the dark with minimal light
- LF license - desirable but not essential
- two contactable work referees
- have your own transport
