Our client, a successful international company who specialise in sale of gases for the welding industry, welding and safety equipment currently have a vacancy for a highly motivated retail assistant for their outlet in Wacol. This is a Monday to Friday position with rostered Saturday Morning shifts. This will be a casual position to start with but will lead to a full time position for the right candidate after a probation period.

The primary functions of this role include:
* Providing friendly and efficient service to customers
* Merchandising and stock management
* Stores and dispatch duties
* Safely loading/unloading gas cylinders

To be considered for this position it is preferable that you have previous experience in retail sales and merchandising although preference will be give to applicants who have experience in the following areas

* Trade or industrial retail sales experience
* Welding industry experience or knowledge
* Good knowledge of Safety and Personal Protective Equipment
* Experience with SAP and Windows Applications
